I've washed these gym socks maybe ten times now and they still feel thick and soft, no thinning at the heel. The comfy band at the top is the real win, no sliding down mid-workout.
The rib knit on these actually holds up after a few washes instead of going all loose and saggy. The band at the top stays put during squats without digging in, which is more than I can say for most crew socks I've tried.
