The 1 1/4" waistband doesn't dig in at all, even after a long bike commute. Mid-rise sits right where I want it, and the little carmine pinstripe is a nice touch.
Wore these for a full day of errands and forgot I had them on, which is the highest praise I can give underwear. The cotton breathes way better than the synthetic pairs I used to wear, and the carmine pinstripe on the waistband is a fun little detail.
The 1 1/4" elastic waistband sits flat and doesn't roll down when I'm moving around all day. The carmine pinstripe is a small detail but it makes them look less plain than my old basic pairs.
